The European Association of the Via Francigena ways means to promote the production of studies, researches, publications about the Via Francigena, in order to foster a greater knowledge of the European itinerary of the Council of Europe and to share it with everybody.
This operation is conducted by EAVF in close collaboration with the qualified Scientific Committee, the European Network of Knowledge (EUNeK) and the network of associates, students and researchers involved in this area.
In the last few years the literature about the Via Francigena and the paths has intensified, with particular regards to studies, researches and dissertations on different aspects of the history of pilgrimage.
The Via Francigena surely widens also the considerations to further detailed analysis of economic, anthropological, religious, cultural, touristic and landscape nature.
This section gathers documents and researches to make them available for the public and the enthusiasts.
