A campaign has been launched to make a concrete contribution to restart Italian tourism and attract attention of Italians and foreigners towards slow tourism that allows you to experience a holiday in close contact with nature: that of walking and cycling trips.

Created with this intent #IoCamminoInItalia network of entrepreneurs, municipalities and hiking enthusiasts aims to attract ideas, advice and packages from tourism players, such as local guides, tour operators, associations, cultural operators.

“The crisis cannot last forever, – writes Alberto Conte, president of Movimento Lento: and when it’s over we invite everyone to choose Italy for their next trip, in particular the areas particularly affected by the current crisis and economically vulnerable. Therefore we created the Facebook group @IoCamminoInItalia, in which tourists can find practical information and proposals.”

The group is open to everyone: travellers looking for traveling companions, associations and guides who organize excursions, tour operators who plan holidays or guided tours for a fee.

“The group, – adds Conte – is also open to commercial operators who are now in a great difficulty; our dedication, our support and our commitment go to their support.”
