FrancigenaNews begins its collaboration with the editors of the European Association of the Vie Francigene. 

Two journalists passionate about the Via Francigena and walking, Massimiliano Scala and Silvia Iuliano of FrancigenaNews, will give their writing contribution to the EAVF communication channels in order to expand and internationalise the information web.   

It involves “an occasion for our blog to share a route with an influential and institutional partner such as the EAVF.  It’s the start of a new leg of the path of information in order to grow together with our readers”, says Massimo Scala, founder of FrancigenaNews. 

 “We want to develop a synergy and form of collaboration between journalists in service to pilgrims, walkers and visitors of the Via Francigena and other walks, in order to offer an even more complete mode of communication” says in turn the President of the EAVF, Massimo Tedeschi.  “We are very glad to collaborate with the FrancigenaNews online platform, whose thematic blog is receiving many followers on the part of those who utilise the routes”.  

The EAVF portal www.viefrancigene.org exceeded one million visitors last year and the pages are frequently updated in the three languages of the Via Francigena, Italian, French and English.
