The headquarters of the European Association of the Via Francigena ways in Fidenza (Parma) welcomed and hosted a training meeting for the first group of eight young newly graduates selected for participation in the ERASMUS + project “FORREsT: new skills FOR experRiEntal Tourism”, led by the EAVF.
Their departure is scheduled on 31 January 2020 to Valencia, Spain: this is a 62-day working experience with companies in tourism, marketing and information systems sectors.
Young people, coming from Lazio, Emilia, Aosta Valley and Piedmont, had an opportunity to visit the EAVF headquarters, meet the staff and receive important information on the Via Francigena and the activity of the association which increasingly tries to involve the young generation to the European route.
The EAVF congratulated the young people selected for the training which will offer them an opportunity to have an important life and professional experience in an international context. The young people will also become ambassadors of the Via Francigena.
The 24-month project officially entered its operational phase. In the coming weeks, young people leaving for England and France will be selected through CV and interviews.
