This call for proposals aims at strengthening the competitiveness of the European tourism sector by encouraging the extension of the tourism season and by increasing internal mobility of seniors and young people. CoE Cultural Routes are considered important stakeholders for supporting the creation of these products.
The Call is in the framework of the axis COSME, DG Enterprise and Industry. The objectives of the call are to:
- Support the extension of the tourism season, hence contributing to improve SME’s competitiveness and jobs growth;
- Foster transnational cooperation among the widest possible number of actors along the tourism value chain;
- Facilitate European public-private partnerships;
- Foster seniors and young people wider sense of European citizenship through increased intra-EU mobility.
Proposals must target seniors (55 years old or above) or young people (aged between 15 and 29) and aim at designing/developing a tourism product concept and running a pilot test.
Deadline: 15th January
Total budget: 1.800.000 euros (the EU grant is limited to a maximum co-funding rate of 75% of eligible costs.
