During the territorial meeting for Puglia Nord of the “Committee for Paths and Cultural Routes” in Monte Sant’Angelo on Wednesday morning, the activities and 2019 “Gargano DOC – Documentary school on Paths and Cultural Routes” project were presented.
The details of the initiative, which is an essential part of forecast activities for the second edition of “Mònde – Cinema Festival on along Routes” – a Apulia Film Commission production with funding from the region of Puglia, Apulia Cinefestival Network, Ente Parco Nazionale del Gargano and Comune di Monte Sant’Angelo. These were illustrated by the artistic director of “Mònde”, Luciano Toriello, together with the director and member of the CDA of Fondazione Apulia Film Commission, Antonio Parente and Giovanni Dello Iacovo.
“Gargano DOC – Documentary school on Paths and Cultural Routes” was created and organised by the Foggia production society, “MAD – Memorie Audiovisive della Daunia“, while the formative aspects have been entrusted to professionals and other authors of Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, thus beginning a precious collaboration with the historic public organisation – operating arm of MIBAC and historical archive of the “Memory of the World” UNESCO register.
Open to young filmmakers, but also to passionate hikers and travellers, “Gargano DOC” is open from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th July 2019, at the old Caserma Sansone in the heart of Foresta Umbra (UNESCO heritage site) and in various locations of the National Park of Gargano.
