On 29 September – 01 October 2021 takes place the annual advisory forum on cultural routes. Organised by the Council of Europe, the event brings together stakeholders from the cultural and tourism sectors united by the common topic – cultural routes.

Today, Fidenza is the “cultural capital” of the Via Francigena: a lab space for the development of Italian and European routes, calling together leading actors, ideas, proposals, and opportunities for confrontation. This is why the Francigena Fidenza Festival was born, with its first edition concluded last Sunday the 19th of September.
On the 27th of September we celebrate the World Tourism Day, a recurrence ideated by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1979 to celebrate the impact of the tourism sector on the social, political, cultural, and economic development of populations.
The event, which took place in Portuguese Vila do Conde on 8- 10 September 2021 brought together Consortium partners of rurAllure, the European Union financed project, focused on enhancement of heritage in the vicinity of cultural and pilgrimage routes.
After 79 days on foot and bicycle, the Road to Rome group has officially reached Rome: the group of walkers, the EAVF delegation, and alongside, the Italian National Tourist Board-ENIT.
