Our partnership with COOP
The partnership between Coop and the European Association of the Via Francigena ways was established in 2022 with the aim of relaunching a healthy and sustainable lifestyle through walking events. Coop is one of the most important large-scale retail chains in Italy and a system of consumer cooperatives, comprising more than six million members.
The ‘Coop Outdoor’ programme fits in perfectly with the ideals of walking and outdoor life: the 2023 events calendar includes free walking and cycling tours that are suitable for everyone. The events take place throughout the Italian territory of the Via Francigena with the aim of enhancing the cultural, historical and natural heritage on the European route.
