Historically, pilgrims passing through the Piacenza area were welcomed by a rich variety of typical products that reflected the richness of the region, immersing them in a unique culinary atmosphere characterised by quality meats and wines. Today, as in the past, these products not only satisfy the palates of pilgrims, but also represent the identity and pride of the local community.

The Stop&Taste project promotes the products of the Consorzio di Tutela Salumi DOP Piacentini and the Consorzio Tutela Vini DOC Colli Piacentini along the European itinerary, enriching pilgrims’ journeys.
