Next to the now destroyed old mill, in the garden of the old farm, on the banks of the Crotta canal, in Redobium (now ROBBIO), on the edge of the Via Francigena (now the road to Mortara) in the “Molino Miradolo” farmhouse.
Inspired by the ancestral rural traditions, a piece of the past of our Lomellino landscape has been entirely reconstructed: a wind hill with its new and ancient life surrounded by marshes (now rice fields), and above the village with its inhabitants dedicated to its care for the their material and spiritual survival.
Here time went back to 2000 BC: vines and maples, linked together to form what the Romans would have called “Arbustum Gallicum”, still produce the drink that enlivened the rural celebrations of the Celts. From the vineyard, on foot, you reach the present by following the path of experience: a series of activities, specially designed, involve visitors with all their senses. Touching or smelling thus becomes an occasion of amazement, thanks to which knowledge is indelibly fixed in memory.
La Lomellina, its products, history and tradition and legends through the Pescarolo family of “Molino Miradolo”, of Robbio, the presentation of our territory with its people, in an agricultural framework where, with the utmost respect for the environment, a future of values in the deep roots of our history.
