- How to arrive:
The Ospitale Ca Dei is located in the heart of Cadeo adjacent to Via Emilia and San Pietro Apostolo Church.
- Coming from Pontenure along Via Emilia SS9, which is the route most pilgrims follow, the Ospitale Ca Dei is situated along the road on the right (immediately after the traffic light).
- Coming from the official route of the Via Francigena, once in the village of Zena leave the route and continue straight ahead for 4 km inbound Via Emilia SS9 and Cadeo. The Ospitale Ca Dei is to be found on the right, beside the San Pietro Apostolo Church (before the traffic light).
- Notes:
There are 4 bedrooms available:
- 1 bedroom for 2 people with communicating bathroom;
- 2 bedrooms for 2 people with private bathroom;
- 1 bedroom for 4 people with private bathroom.
- Services:
The kitchen cannot be used at the moment due to the anti COVID-19 rules and guidelines.
It is possible to find the Pilgrim’s Menu at the pizzeria Da Romano:
- Pilgrim’s Menu at € 10.00 includes one typical local dish, beverage and coffee;
- Pilgrim’s Menu at € 13.00 includes two typical local dishes, beverage and coffee.
Moreover, it is possible to have breakfast at the pizzeria Da Romano:
- as early as 5:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday;
- from 6:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Ospitale Ca Dei is located in the rectory of San Pietro Apostolo Church in the town of Cadeo.
