Typical historical rural building of the Po valley in Emilia region used as a farmhouse following complete refurbishment in 2014 obtaining a class A energy performance level.
The particular sensitivity for environmental protection has led to very conservative and at the same time innovative restructuring choices both for the respect of the original structure and for the use of the materials and technologies adopted.
The electricity and heat needs are mainly solved by the photovoltaic and solar panels integrated into the building roof while the home automation system are remotely controlling the room lighting and comfort in order to maintain a constant and uniform indoor wellness standard, supported by the radiant floor panels and an air-conditioned network.
The structure is arranged over three floors, with four rooms with bathroom, carefully and original, “themed”: Le Farfalle – single room with a queen-size bed – I Papaveri – double room with double bed for disabled access – Il Grano – double room with two single beds or a double bed-La Lavanda – double room with two single beds or a double bed. Two of the rooms can be communicating to allow hospitality for groups or families.
Each room is equipped with linen with superior quality cotton towels (600gr / m2), kettle, hairdryer, courtesy bathroom products, free wifi, TV set with the latest generation Qled technology – in stand-by mode it is a panel high definition (available during the month of March 2020).
Flexible and autonomous access to the structure with self checkin
The farm develops a cultural project linked to the organic cultivation of products selected for the valuable and innovative properties of which guests can receive information and be actively involved.
Events and courses are organized to promote valuable crops with attention to their sustainability in their triple environmental, social and economic dimension. ♻️ – e.g. hemp sativa, and saffron. 🌺
