How to arrive:
After Cassio, the Via Francigena coincides with the “Statale della Cisa” for about 3 km. Our house is located on the main road, and is marked by a wooden sign “Biutiful”. Once you enter Cavazzola, ignore the crossroads for “Cavazzola di sotto” and continue on the main road until you reach house number 70.

Description

On the Via Francigena, 3 km after Cassio, we host pilgrims and wayfarers who travel the path of Sigeric on foot or by bike. We offer tourist accommodation in a private room with B&B service, or pilgrim hospitality in a shared room for those with a credential, sleeping bag (or sheet bag) and own towels. We are a small mountain farm, and we offer a genuine and family welcome, with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients we use for ourselves and for our guests. We use only organic products for cleaning rooms and personal care, we produce hot water with solar panels, we heat the house with wood cut by us responsibly, and we are in general oriented towards achieving full ecological sustainability. We have created the spaces dedicated to hospitality with love and effort, trying to make them warm, welcoming and suitable for travellers. With reservation, we can accommodate groups of 15 pilgrims. Since 2023, we have been part of and are active members of POP hospitality network (Pilgrims Host Pilgrims).
