Casa Marce’ is a country homestead where one can discover the family friendly atmosphere of Tuscany.  The name of the estate is “Sonno”, which means sleepy, and dates back to the 18^th century, as a working farmstead, with a main house, farm buildings, and gardens, all next to an idyllic olive grove.The property is located along side the picturesque hill named “Torretta”, that oversees the town of Porcari,  and offers an enchanting panorama of the Lucchese valley “ Valle delle Sei Miglia”.The hamlet which “Sonno” is part of, was originally built alongside an ancient castle (dated 1000 AD but now destroyed) and is situated along the Francigena pilgrimage route. Casa Marce’ is a short walk from the church of San Guisto, which dominates the views of the town and valley. The home offers 2 bedrooms, with views of the valley, with total 8 beds:

1)     Family Bedroom – accommodates 4 to 5 people with two separate rooms and an ensuite private bathroom.

2)     Matrimonial Bedroom – Queen bed or two single beds with external private bathroom oTriple Bedroom – Queen bed plus single or three single beds, with external private bathroom.

 Guests have use of the home’s living room, kitchen and gardens, along with free WiFi, TV, and parking.
