From CASE di CORTE, it is possible to slightly change the route by crossing the center of Orentano, taking Via Ponticelli and heading towards the section EV5 of the Francigena, reconnecting to the route near Galleno. This variant allows you to be about 2.5 km south, in the direction of Rome.

“CASE di CORTE, Residence-Case Vacanza” is a popular historical building in a typical Lucca residential nucleus, namely the “Corte”, original settlements of Orentano. The three apartments can accommodate up to 12 people, in groups of max. four each or small groups travelling together. The eighteenth-century building has been recently renovated- restored with technological systems built with a green philosophy. It has a common swimming pool. The apartments, furnished with antiques and salvage decorative objects, are equipped with kitchen, fridge and household accessories, bedrooms and bathrooms with linen, air conditioning system (hot / cold / dehumidification). The space is completely fenced off to ensure the privacy and safety of guests and their bikes. Of particular importance is the convenience of all the services of the village: restaurants, bars, grocery stores, pharmacy, barbershop, hairdressers, newspapers and tobacconists, etc. at very short distance.
