The Locanda del Sorriso is a small, charming guesthouse in the centre of the Val d’Orcia, specifically in San Quirico d’Orcia, 20 metres from the town square, along the Via Francigena.

It consists of three rooms, one different from the other in colour and number of people who can stay overnight:

the blue and white “cloud” can accommodate up to four people, with one double and one single bed, the en-suite bathroom with hydro-massage shower bringing relief to pilgrims after their walk;
the brown and yellow “earth” holds up to three with one double and one single bed, the bathroom with shower is also en suite
the gold and pink ‘sun’ is a double room with an additional bed if needed, the en suite bathroom also has a hydromassage shower.

Espresso coffee, herbal tea and water are available all day long, the Italian breakfast is to be taken at the bar which is 50 m away and is located in the main square

A fridge and freezer are also available free of charge, as is Wi-Fi.

The beds and mattresses are oversized for a healthy rest, the street is quiet and without noise.
