- How to arrive:
The building is directly visible from the Via Francigena. Arriving at Torrenieri from the official route, where the white road enters into via Cassia, take the direction of Siena, turn left, and, after a few metres, take the first road on the right, via del Castellare. At this point the Pellegrinaio is on the right.

The guesthouse has a kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking. The basic ingredients are available to the pilgrims to create a simple meal at any time.
The Pellegrinaio del Poggio is situated along the via Francigena where the Cassia Road passes through the small village of Torrenieri, the XIII stay of Sigeric on his return to Canterbury, England in 990 A.D.
The guesthouse is located in a strategic position, easily reached by foot or by public transport. The bus stop, the supermarket, bars and the pharmacy are in close proximity to it.
The apartment is in a modern building at the border of the village, in a good position that offers beautiful views of the countryside. The building and the private garden are in front of the pilgrim route and the ancient Posta (an old stay of the village) of il Poggio.
The guesthouse provides two triple rooms, one double room and a queen bed room, thus offering different choices to the guest. The common spaces are: the kitchen, the hall and the taverna which are perfect places to share travel experiences. Finally, at the back of the house, the private garden presents stunning sunset views.
