From Rome, take Via Trionfale (which coincides with the Via Francigena), continue on Via Pineta Sacchetti for 1.5 km, turn onto Via Battistini, and then turn right onto Via dei Monti di Pietralata. After 350 meters, turn right onto Via Francesco Mario Torrigio and continue for 50 meters to reach number 102, the entrance to the ground-floor residence.
The distance from the apartment on Via Torrigio 102 to Vatican City by bike or on foot is just 8 kilometers. The route passes through the center of Rome. It is recommended to use an interactive map or a cycling route planner for detailed and up-to-date directions. For instance, the website “Ride with GPS” offers tools to plan bicycle routes.
To reach Vatican City from the apartment, considering walking/cycling and the use of public transportation, you can head to the nearby Battistini metro station (400 meters away) and follow these steps:- Metro Line A (Direction: Anagnina): Take Metro Line A in the direction of Anagnina.
- Ottaviano-S. Pietro Stop: Get off at the Ottaviano-S. Pietro stop, which is five stations away from Battistini.
- Walking Route: From Ottaviano-S. Pietro station, St. Peter’s Basilica is a short 5-10 minute walk.
The total travel time, including walking, is approximately 15-20 minutes. Rome’s metro operates from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM Sunday to Thursday, and until 1:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
