The Fraternal House of the Pilgrim (MFP10) is located in Brienne le Château in the department of Aube, at the crossroads on the axis of Via Francigena and Santiago de Compostela.
This ancestral house (former home of he dominican sisters), has been open since May 2021, and welcomes pilgrims of all nationalities.
The church is located a few steps from the Fraternal house of the pilgrim; times of prayer and blessing are offered to pilgrims who request them from the hosts.
The team is made up of former pilgrims and people experienced in welcoming the public, all of them passionate. Several volunteers speak and understand English and German.
The Fraternal house of the Pilgrim is located in the city center, and offers passing pilgrims many advantages and services : such as proximity to shops, local products (in particular the famous Brienne sauerkraut).
In addition, accommodation in this place of reception, cultural visits are offered at the Napoleon museum in Brienne; the church of Dienville located 6 km from Brienne-le-Château is open during the day to visitors wishing to discover the treasure of the churches.
The entry of the pilgrims is carried out by the garden; St Jacques shells affixed to the gate indicate access to the garden, recalling the emblem and sign of recognition of the pilrimage to St Jacques de Compostela.
