The Acqua Borra has been a thermal destination since the oldest civilizations: objects have been found, which Romans and Ethruscans would through in in honor of the nymphs protecting the place. For all of the Middle Ages, inhabitants would use this water to cure bones, muscles, and some would drink it to cure illnesses. The water has a temperature of 36 – 38°C and has a peculiar composition: 3/4 is the classic kitchen salt.
