Castello Angionio-Aragonese

  • Address: Castello Angioino-Aragonese, Salita Castello, Gaeta, LT

The structure that we admire today, covering an area of approximately 14,100 square metres, is called the Angevin-Aragonese Castle because there are two prevailing historical moments that can be read from the wall structures: the lower building called ‘Angevin’ and the higher one called ‘Aragonese’.
