The Farnese Castle is a medieval castle, built by the Orsini family in the 13th century and passed on to the Farnese family in the 16th century.
Inside the Farnese castle, the baronial palace was built in the late Middle Ages and was commissioned by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese.
