Isola Farnese - Church of San Pancrazio

The church of San Pancrazio is the most important of Isola Farnese’s churches; it was built in the 15th century on the spot where an older building had stood. The interior has a nave and two aisles divided by pillars and a central apse. The walls show numerous traces of frescoes, datable for the most part between the 15th and the 17th centuries; the scene of the Death and Coronation of the Virgin, from the 16th century, is depicted in the apse.
