The Park is the largest urban protected area in Europe. A green wedge that runs from the city centre towards the Castelli Romani.
In the centre of the park there is an open-air museum that stretches over 16 kilometres. On either side of the park lie historic agricultural estates and the remains of imperial villas and aqueducts.
