The Caffarella Valley is an area of 190 hectares that stretches between the Aurelian Walls, Via Latina and Via dell’Almone. The name derives from the main historical estate of the Caffarelli family who had their property here and built the farmhouse known as Vaccareccia around the 16th century, which is still preserved inside the park.
