The visit to the historic centre of Castiglione deserves a deviation. From Bagno Vignoni an asphalted road and a long uphill stretch lead us to Radicofani.

CAREFUL: the section of the path that links San Quirico to Bagno Vignoni includes a very steep slope on unpaved road. If you do not have a good experience onto off-road paths we suggest you to follow the variation on the Via Cassia
