The website of the European Association of the Vie Francigene develops a new section, “Walking with…”. A title, a goal: to narrate the world of routes, with the company of a few protagonists.
An occasion for a monthly in-depth analysis, in order to give voice to personalities of this branch, pilgrims and enthusiasts that are ready to share their point of view on key-topics. ‘Walking with’ is a magnifying glass on the present and on the future of the Vie Francigene and of all the routes that connect Europe in one path. An space open for debate, testimonies and suggestions to grow together and start another journey. The backpack is ready, let’s go!
The section will be moderated by Silvia Iuliano, a pilgrim journalist who lives in Sanremo, the city of flowers, of the Festival and of the Coast Road. Silvia graduated in Milan in ‘Theories and techniques of media communication’ and walked the French Route in 2014. Since then she has been talking about yellow arrows and wayfarers to share the values of a unique human experience. She writes and walks also to promote new itineraries, as the one that crosses Liguria. After all, every pilgrim knows “the Walk does not end in Santiago, but goes on in everyday life”.
