On 30 September 2017, the Jacobee Associations of the French Regions of Burgundy, Franche-Comté and Lorraine, with the support of the Association of the Paths of Saint James of Compostela on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the recognition of the route of Santiago de Compostela as a European Cultural Route., organised a meeting in Notre-Dame de Mont-Roland Sanctuary, located along the route.

The program:

9.30 – Welcome to the Sanctuary, 6 km from Dole. Large car parking.

10.00 – Departure of the walk, with the possibility of choice of two routes: 5.6 km, difference in altitude of 125 m; Or 10 km, difference in altitude of 200 m.

13.00 – Buffet lunch with typical local products at “Chalet du Mont-Roland”, upon reservation before 31.07

15.00 – Conference “Pilgrimages in the Middle Ages”, rapporteur Jean-Pierre Sotty, free entry.
