The official Via Francigena route is now available on two new media items: a brand new app and new maps, all of these available for free download.

The new SloWays app for iOS and Android allows the GPS Navigation along the whole Via Francigena route, from the Great San Bernardo pass to Rome, more than 1000 km divided in 45 stages.

For those who prefer paper, the maps are available both in printable color A4 format and in a new one, designed for the smartphones screen.

All the travelers on Via Francigena will be able to use this useful tool, which can also be downloaded to mobile supports once on the route.

Those who will purchase a travel with SloWays, tour operator “expert partner” of the European Association of Vie Francigene, will be provided with many additional information, among which the descriptions and locations of points of interest and accomodations. In case of emergency, they will be able to send their GPS position to the SloWays secretary through a SMS.
