There is no more delicious way to experience the soul of European culture, history and traditions than through its food. As you travel through Europe along the Via Francigena, you will find numerous gastronomic fairs, festivals and trails to taste the unique regional, local products and dishes in England, Switzerland, France, Italy.

Taste your way through Europe is a project supported by the European Commission in order to enhance knowledge about local food along the European routes. The Via Francigena, at the moment, is the unique Council of Europe Cultural Routes included in this list.
