This year, we welcome new members to the European Association of the Via Francigena ways EAVF.

Regional Hiking Committee of Hauts-de-France, Pas-de-Calais and Somme, as well as Aisne Department Hiking Committee have adhered to the EAVF.

The French hiking committees conduct very important territorial activities: trail development, waymarking, safety maintenance and trail animation, implemented by volunteers.

In 2018 the EAVF signed a partnership agreement with the French Hiking Federation. The membership of the regional and departmental committees is one more step in network development of the Via Francigena in France. We warmly welcome new members and are looking forward to closely working together.
