“Visit Francigena”, the new section of the portal www.viefrancigene.org, specifically dedicated to those who want to travel along the Via Francigena, is finally on-line. A space created to give value to responsible tourism: a tourism that enhances the cultural, environmental and historical heritage of the historic path, creating opportunities for small enterprises and for a conscious development of the territory. 

With “Visit Via Francigena” ( www.visit.viefrancigene.org ), the EAVF website (www.viefrancigene.org) enriches itself with proposals, information and opportunities, aimed at reaching  a wider target of users. 

The website guarantees visibility to welcoming structures both for pilgrims and for tourists, through the use of an intuitive interactive map.  Another important news is represented by the section ”organized trips” that illustrates the touristic offer along the Via Francigena.

Www.viefrancigene.org represents now the main European reference for learning and discovering the Via Francigena, thanks to the continuous updating of information, photo galleries and maps of the route. The number of accesses is growing exponentially, approximately 20,000 visitors per month, to which is added the community EAVF on facebook.
